Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN AND NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND IS IMPLIED. PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ENTRANTS FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is offered to all natural persons, age 18 and over as of the date of entry, who are legal residents of the United States of America. Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members and person living in the same households of such person, are not eligible to participate in the Give-Away. HOW TO ENTER: 1.Send video or essay beginning July 3, 2010 through September 25, 2010, videos or essays may be sent via mail or email. Make sure to give brides name, address and phone number on entry. 2. Entrants must attend the LBA’s bridal show to validate your entry. If entrants do not validate entry they will be disqualified 3. Winner will be notified on or after October 1, 2010 4. Videos or Essays must be emailed to LBAweddinggiveaway@yahoo.com or mailed to P.O. Box 21001, Lansing, MI 48909-1001and postmarked by September 10, 2010. Sponsor is not responsible for any technical difficulties, computer failure or returned entries due to lack of postage. Videos sent through the mail MUST be in DVD format 5. Enterant Must validate their entry at the bridal show September 11 or 12 during the show times. 6. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Finalist. 7. We are looking for the best story. Be creative, Be silly, Be honest. GUIDELINES 1.Wedding: Wedding Date must be held on 3-11-11 2. Both, the Bride and the Groom, must agree to the rules and regulations of the Give-Away. Both must have a valid photo id. and may not use alias names. 3. Bride and Groom must abide by all State of Michigan Laws and Ordinances according to marriage and obtaining marriage license. Acquiring the marriage license is the sole responsibility of the Bride and Groom. 4 Submitted videos and essays will not be returned, and become the property of the Lansing Bridal Association and can be used for promotional use. Entrant represents and warrants that the submitted entry is wholly original and owned by them and is not copied from any commercial or proprietary source or otherwise copyrighted; or is not subject to any third party rights. 5. Vendor Give-Away contributions are the responsibility of each particular Vendor. Details will be outlined in your individual Vendor Agreements and Contracts. It is the responsibility of the Bride and Groom to meet with the Sponsor. 6. Additional Vendors and Services not provided in the package are the sole responsibility of the Bride and Groom. Additional Vendors selected by the Bride and Groom will not be included in/on any literature or media promotional items regarding the Wedding Give-Away. Wedding Give-Away Vendors have exclusivity for their products and services. 7. The complete wedding day give-away package is ONLY redeemable on the specified date. It is a complete package and may not be separated. Nor is it redeemable for cash. 8. All donations awarded are suitable for up to 150 guests or a dollar amount specified by the Vendor which will be outlined in the individual Vendor agreements. 9. Bride and Groom must participate in non-paid media interviews and media coverage. By accepting the Give-Away contributions, the winner and finalists, agrees to the use of their names, photograph, video, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising and promotion. 10. Wedding Giveaway package is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable to another bride. Cancellation prior to the wedding date is considered to be in violation of the give-away rules and may be subject to legal resolutions. 11. Additional Vendor Services to the Give-Away Package must be paid in full two weeks prior to wedding date. 12. The Wedding Give-Away committee, participants or Vendors are not financially responsible or liable for Natural Disasters, Acts of God or any other circumstance which may prevent the Wedding Give-Away from occurring on selected date. Nor personal injuries, death, property damage, publicity claims, defamation or invasion of privacy. 13. The Sponsor, Wedding Give Away Vendors and media are permitted to be present at the wedding and reception. 14. Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Give-Away. |
