Our Board of Directors is comprised of local vendors who volunteer their time to make the Lansing Bridal Association and Show a success.
Chase Nobis – Executive Director
Chase started working for Complete Music as a DJ in the early 90’s and loved it so much he bought the company! After starting with just two other DJ’s working for him, he grew Complete Weddings + Events to over 50 employees and added Photography, Videography, Photo Booth and Up-lighting departments. Today, Complete Weddings and Events does between 600 and 700 events every year.
Chase attributes his success to his awesome staff, but also the awesome network of vendors that refer Complete to brides. With this networking idea in mind, Chase started the West-Michigan Wedding Association with the help of several other wedding professionals over 15 years ago. The WMWA grew to over 100 members and evolved into two of the most popular bridal shows in West-Michigan. Complete Weddings + Events flourished with referrals and connections with the brides.
In 2009, Chase organized a group of leading wedding professionals in Lansing and launched the Lansing Bridal Association. This group of dedicated wedding professionals have helped make the LBA the leading bridal website and bridal shows in the Lansing area.

Allen Johnston – Sales Team
Allen is the owner of Amber J Photography LLC. He joined the LBA in 2012 with the goal of helping the Lansing Bridal Show grow and provide the best opportunity for brides and vendors to meet. Allen handles sales, and intern hiring.
Amber Johnston – Website Director
Amber is the main photographer for Amber J Photography LLC. She handles all things website-related for the LBA, as well as assisting in social media management.

Barb Joseph – Membership Director
Barb is the owner of Barbs Designs and joined the LBA Board of Directors in 2015. She works with members to ensure they get the most out of the LBA by helping them get their listing set up on our website. Barb also brings a great positive energy to the association with her friendly and happy personality, as well as her ideas for how to help the LBA grow.
Marta Brown – Social Media Director
Marta Brown is the Social Media Director. She joined the LBA as a Vendor in 2015 and is the proud owner of the beautiful Northfork Estate in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Marta has an impressive customer service history and prides herself on providing the highest quality venue to all her brides and grooms. Additionally, Marta delivers 15 years of event planning experience to The Northfork Estate, making every event breathtaking and spectacular.

Ben Graham – Event Director
Ben has been with Finley’s for 20 years and is their Director of Catering! He has done every job there is to do in a restaurant but found his true passion in catering operations. Ben pays major attention to detail to make sure every wedding goes exactly to plan. Scheduling, staffing, special requests (One gluten free guest?…no problem, One vegan? No problem!). Because of his interest in making your day perfect, Finley’s Catering is a major player in the Wedding Catering business all over Mid and Southern Michigan.

C moved from Ashland, Oregon to pursue a degree in both English Education and Theater at Michigan State University, where she is an active part of the MSU Club Fencing and Club Gymnastics teams.
