The Brookshire Inn & Golf Club in Williamston, Michigan, offers to-be-weds the use of an outdoor space and an indoor banquet room. Situated on a golf course, the club has some of the most picturesque views around. Photographers are sure to fall in love with the rolling green fairways and mounded bunkers. With only one wedding at a time, the staff’s attention is completely focused on the couple.
The Gardens
During warm months when the weather is cooperating, the bride and groom can have their nuptials in the colorful flower gardens, which can accommodate 300 of your friends and family members. Surrounding the gardens are amazing first-look photo spots. Head down by the pond along a trail or on the wooden bridge for memorable photos.
The Banquet Room
The banquet room is able to accommodate 200 guests with use of the dance floor. There’s a separate space just off the dance floor for a disc jockey to set up equipment and the facility also has its own bar. The cathedral ceilings give the illusion of a large space and the three window-lined walls offer an unobstructed view of the 9th green and its breathtaking flower garden.
What You Should Know
To-be-weds are welcome to use the facility until 2 a.m. However, the music must finish an hour earlier. A banquet coordinator serves you from the moment you sign up for a complimentary tour and consultation through the wedding day. The coordinator assists with picking out additional vendors, obtaining extras, such as the use of a photo booth and handling all the setup instructions. Included in the room rental are the tables and chairs, table linens with colored napkins and skirting for the head table and display tables. The room fee also includes the cost of the bartender. The beverage package is separate.
The catering team is more than happy to accept special requests when it comes to creating a menu. The team offers such tasty hors d’oeuvres as seafood-stuffed mushroom caps, vegetable spring rolls and mini beef Wellingtons. The entrée list includes slow-roasted prime rib, garlic and rosemary chicken and herb-crusted pork loin. The bride and groom are welcome to request kids-meal options or special dishes for anyone with a dietary restriction, such as gluten-free cuisine or vegetarian meals. A mouth-watering dessert menu is available with items such as Godiva chocolate cheesecake, tiramisu and chocolate lava cake.
